Tasting Portions Menù

Tasting menus are often seen as the height of dining, but we have always found them somewhat inflexible and, at times, prohibitively expensive. For this reason, we have found a way for you to explore more of our Southern Italian menu without the burden of high prices or a fixed path.
On Tuesdays and Wednesdays at Flora, we offer what we call a Tasting Portion Menù. The dishes are the same as those we serve throughout the week, but the portions are smaller—about a third less—and the prices are reduced as well. If you wish, you may also choose wines by the glass in 3-ounce pours, so you can enjoy pairings with each course.
With this option, you can compose your own tasting menu. Perhaps you would like to follow the traditional four-course structure—antipasto, primo, secondo, and dolce—each accompanied by a small glass of wine. This would cost only a little more than a single, full-sized meal. Or, if you prefer something lighter, you might choose just one or two tasting portions, making for a simpler mid-week meal.
We hope you’ll enjoy this way of discovering the flavors of Cilento and the Vallo di Diano National Park here in Park Slope. We are grateful for the MICHELIN Bib Gourmand 2023 recognition, which honors restaurants that serve their communities with care and offer good value. We try, in our own way, to live up to that responsibility.
We hope to see you soon at Flora.
A presto!
